- The City of White Plains has placed an enrollment cap of 375 students in this school. It is sometimes necessary for us to start a waiting list.
- Since our primary language is German, knowledge of German is required. If a student has little knowledge of German, we encourage the student to apply in Grade K.
Application and Admission: - Head of School will decide upon acceptance for admission
- Applications should include:
- Copy of birth certificate to verify date of birth and nationality
- Immunization record
- Last report card from previous school indicating student's present status
- Signed original enrollment agreement
Tuition: - One-time non-refundable registration fee
- Non-refundable deposit due byMay 15th prior to beginning of the next school year
- Tuition will be invoiced in early July and is due by August 15 prior to beginning of school year. Tuition is non-refundable.

Notices for Enrollment for current tuition (see Registration). Financial Aid: - Written request for tuition assistance must be submitted to the Tuition Committee, c/o German School New York on an annual basis (by May 1st prior to beginning of the next school year)
- Tuition assistance is based on a financial evalution by School and Student Service for Financial Aid, Princeton, NJ. Forms are available in the Main Office of the school.
Transportation - GSNY does not provide bus transportation for students.
- Transportation may be available from the school district you reside in.
- Families residing in NJ have organized bus transportation privately.
- We encourage transportation to and from school by bus
